Dandenong Uniting Church is a home for many cultures.  People are able to share their belief and spiritual journey in their own languages.

We believe that God continues to transform culture, tradition and custom. Therefore we encourage people to open their hearts, minds and soul to experience God in their life.

Experiencing God in community requires willingness to embrace those who are different from their own. Cross- cultural relationship is a sign of uniting community. A community who is able to live and share hope, faith and love to the world.

As a community who follow Jesus, we love God and neighbours in word and action.                                                                              

We follow Jesus with an open mind and open heart, being sensitive to and inclusive of people of 
all colour, caste or creed, and, knowing our place as a follower asking always “What would Jesus 
do?” or “How would Jesus be? so that our life also bears witness to the presence of the Kingdom
 of God with us now.

Loving God with passion, choosing to offer the praise of a grateful heart both individually and
 corporately through worship in spirit, soul and body and through the intentional practice of the
 spiritual disciplines.

Loving neighbor as we collaborate with others and offer partnership of all our resources; and 
through formal and informal involvement with the community and caring services, we welcome 
and demonstrate grace, unconditional acceptance, tolerance, adaptability, and show a sensitivity to 
listen and learn from people of different cultures.
