DANDENONG HINDI TRINITY FELLOWSHIP

The Hindi Fellowship began in December, 2006, under the leader of Dr. Graeme Sutton, Late Shiu Lal, Deaconess Sunita Lal and late Simone Charan. The primary aim of the Hindi Speaking people is to sing their songs to the Lord in a strange land in our own language and to express our Christian identity in a cultural perspective. And also to share joy and challenges that faces each other in our Fellowship, So very like the early Christian who have found themselves isolated from general society and found comfort and sense of belonging in the Fellowship of Christ.

Our mission statement at Trinity Fellowship is ‘We Follow Christ, loving God And Neighbour in Words And Action’ and the Fellowship has earnestly tried to be faithful to this mission.

Our Hindi Fellowship meets at Dandenong Trinity Uniting Church on first Sunday of each month at 3.30 p.m.   The sacrament of Holy Communion is regularly celebrated on a quarterly basis and each service has been meaningful to the Fellowship. Our church service is conducted by Rev. Charles Sundaresan. We also get regular support from Anugra Group, led by Pastor Sashi Singh and Ronald Singh. We also have requested prayer meetings out in the community.

After the Service, members enjoy a happy social occasion over afternoon tea. This is a valuable time to catch up with the broader Hindi Community in Melbourne

In December, we celebrate Christmas with Kingston Indian Senior Citizens Association ( KISCA) and Anugra Group. On this occasion, the Fellowship celebrate social gathering with symbolic decorations, glittering lights, singing candle light Christmas carols, bhajans, ghazels, qawwalis commemorating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We also have guest speakers and ministers bringing Christmas messages to the wider community followed by feast.
