The Uniting Church acknowledges that we live and worship on land for which the Wurundjeri and Boonerwrung people are the traditional owners and acknowledge the current Elders of the Kulin nation. We are grateful for the many years of caring for this land and are sorry that many of our people were instrumental in removing them from it. We acknowledge that the land is sacred to them as it is to us, and, to the best of our ability we will continue to care for it so that, as generations of the past have done, future generations may enjoy its beauty and sacredness and worship the God the Great Creator Spirit.
